More inspiration…
Looking for more examples of how you might use this sketch/template to inspire your next page? Here are a few inspired pages from our Get It Scrapped Creative Team.
Kelly Prang says, “I loved how this template gave me a chance to use 7 photos while still having free space.”
“This page is about my youngest child and how different, yet similar, she looks as she grows up. The photos are of her from 2 days old, 15 months, 4 years, 7 years, 9 years, 11 years and 12 years old. I used the rule of three on this page, with three clusters to help draw the eye from the middle left-side to the top right and then lower right sides. When following this page, you see each photo and are then led to the journaling area.”
Marcia Fortuanto says, “I often like to include a lot of photos on my scrapbook layouts, so this sketch appealed to me because of the number and variety of photos it has. My layout shows a sampling of the pictures I took recently while participating in a photo composition workshop at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.”
“Even though this is a paper scrapbook page, I found it easier to begin creating my layout by using the digital template to help me choose and lay out my photos. I then printed my pictures, and used the digital layout as a general guide to complete my page, adapting it slightly to better fit the photos that I had printed and adding one more photo.”
Terry Billman says, “One focal photo supported by smaller photos in this template was perfect to highlight the photos of my nephew’s latest wrestling match. This page is about Jayden pinning his opponent 38 seconds into the match. I flipped the template horizontally to accommodate the large photo in a landscape orientation. The simple straight lines of this sketch allow the large photo to be highlighted, supported by smaller photos and ample room for journaling.”
Megan Blethen says, “I love sketches that allow me to use more than one photos and this one was perfect for a fun snow day we had after Christmas this past year. My page is about my two youngest kids playing “Santa and his Reindeer” in the snow. I didn’t have enough photos to use in each of the spaces suggested so I decided to use patterned paper.”
Karen Poirier-Brode says, “Of course, I have a lot of photos from the holidays and I liked this sketch because it used 7 photos and that made it a quick way to incorporate an event of the holiday story.”
“This layout features the members of our family that celebrated together on Boxing Day. With this template, a single kit and a piece of word art from the kit for my title this page came together very quickly and looks cohesive and beautiful.”
