Ronnie is an English girl living in Texas with two kids, one schnauzer and a husband for company. Her family left England when her daughter was 18 months old with hopes of being back in time for her to start school. Now Ronnie and her family have been in Texas for 15 years and her daughter is 20! Ronnie is a “Work-From-Home Mum” with a bit more than a part-time job in association management being a part owner of Quindigo Management. Not something she planned to do with her life but something she enjoys and fits in with her family commitments.

Scrapbooking has been Ronnie’s major hobby/stress management tool for over ten years now and she collected a room full of supplies and gadgets before transitioning exclusively to digital scrapbooking in 2010. Ronnie says, “My scrapbooks record my family life ‘warts and all’. My one rule as far as my scrapbooking is concerned is that I’m the Chief Executive Officer in Charge. So I decide how long to spend on a page, I decide which pictures and I decide what to scrapbook. It’s the one thing in my life I have complete control over.”

Marcia divides her time between her family’s new home on a lake in Minnesota and their home of thirty-some years in northeast Ohio, with Minnesota generally winning out. She has been married to Patrick for over thirty years. They have four adult sons, two daughters-in-law, two adorable grandchildren, and a very cute cat. In what seems like a previous life, Marcia earned a BS degree in mathematics and an MBA, worked as a research analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, and then quit her job to stay home and raise her boys, including homeschooling them through high school.

Marcia began scrapbooking around 2004. She is a paper scrapper who uses mainly linear and grid-based designs but is not afraid to branch out into other designs as well. Now that her sons are grown, she spends much of her time hiking, gardening, and spending as much time as possible with family, all of which provide material for her scrapbooking. She also enjoys honing her design and photography skills, as well as traveling back and forth between Minnesota and Ohio.

Iris Fox

Hi this is Iris. Scrapbooker, quilter, and all around crafty dabbler. I live in Northern California with my husband of seventeen years. We have a teen and a tween, and our little guinea pig Bean. I own my own espresso machine, I have to reorganize something just about every week, my favorite season is autumn, and I actually like to edit photos!

My style isn’t clean and simple nor artsy messy. I just do me, which is somewhere in between. I don’t like to be hedged into a particular trend or color scheme, but a few things are fairly consistent. I like layers and clusters, but not so many that they overpower the photos. Layouts need texture with a little mixed media, cut files, twine, or stitching. The finishing touch is a sprinkling of little bits like ink splatters, enamel dots, sequins, or even on occasion some brads (which I still keep because they are so cute). Oh and also, I use clouds a lot.

I have been a scrapbooker for 15 years, and a digital product designer for ten of those years. Barely a day goes by without scrapping or designing, and I especially love making photobooks of our travels and re-scrapping my daughters’ old photos as well as family heritage layouts. I am from English but live in New Zealand with my husband and two daughters, and I sell kits, elements and templates at The Lilypad.

I live in the Seattle area and am the COO of my family consisting of my husband, our 2 teenage boys, and our dog. I scrap everything, the good, the bad, the ugly, my current moods and feelings. But I scrap it all with a sense of humor attached. Sometimes evident and literal, sometimes in puns and word play. So, if asked my style, which is constantly evolving, I’d say humorous and playful. I love how this hobby is constantly changing in styles and trends, and like finding ways to incorporate them into my pages my way. When I’m not playing with paper and glue, I also read, and watch as much baseball as I can.

Aloha!! It’s Hannah here, I am a home school mom of three amazing children (8, 7 and 5). I am also an army wife, though I am not your typical one. I love coffee, ancestry history and Hawaii. I started scrapbooking in 2014, when trying to do an album for my oldest daughter. I was hooked on telling our stories with all the photos I loved. I think my love of history and ancestry has really been the backbone of why I scrap. Having a bit of history to share with my family. Also who doesn’t love to get creative and play with paper, glue and art supplies. My need for color and art definitely shows through my pages and projects.

Jill Sprott

Blog | Instagram

I’m Jill Sprott (rhymes with “vote”), and I’ve been obsessed with paper and storytelling all my life — I’ve got the journals, the house full of books (including scrapbooks), and the job as an English teacher to prove it! I was born and raised on O’ahu, Hawai’i, where I live with my family, a canine/feline/human collective (it’s all kind of blurry). I’ve been scrapbooking for nearly two decades now — clearly, this love is for keeps. Whenever I’m asked why I scrapbook, I offer up the same defense that Robert Frost gave for why poetry matters: it is “a way of remembering that which it would impoverish us to forget.”

Cara Vincens

Blog | FacebookInstagram | YouTube

Hi, I’m Cara, I’m a Canucklehead (Nova Scotia) living in Luxembourg with my tall, dark and hot hubby. He’s French and the reason I came here in the first place. Wouldn’t we all do anything for love? ;) Though, it’s not like he had to twist my rubber arm to come to this fairy tale land, we love Luxie! We have 6 children… nope, not a typo! And only one of those is a girl :D As you can imagine, she’s a spitfire.

As far as crafting goes, I’m a paper artist and I do a lot of paper crafts but I absolutely love planning and scrapbooking. I love every single moment of the scrapbooking process, from the stories (oh, how I love to tell a good story!) and the photos, to the design, techniques and product (who can resist all those gorgeous products!). I love bright, happy colours, lots of white and lots of white space and lots of layers and clusters! Planning is a relatively new obsession, but it combines my love of papercrafting with my need to be organized, it’s a match made in heaven! My first love was sewing, and I can usually incorporate it into my scrapbooks (and even my planners!). Sometimes however, my cheating heart strays… it’s usually as Carnaval approaches and all those fabulous costumes are tempting me. I get that itch to sew on fabric (gasp!)… and I cheat on Scrapbooking, but she always takes me back ;)
