How to make this layout
- Start with a heavy, solid cardstock.
- Spread an acrylic paint across your page with a palette knife to create a 4 x10″ rectangular base.
- Cut 1 ” wide patterned strips–of random lengths that don’t exceed 5″– from a leftover piece of patterned paper.
- Stagger your strips vertically across your painted base.
- Layer a 2.5 x12″ strip of patterned transparency over your horizontal band.
- Add a 3 x5 photo to the left side of your page , positioning the top of your photo about 2″ down from the top of your painted base.
- Render your title vertically along the left side of your photo.
- Layer journaling strips over the right bottom corner of your photo.
